Poundage

Ten more pounds to go.

But of course, if you could lose ten, why not another five?

::shrugs::

A proper update soon! I promise.

  1. Hey Jane,

    Congrats on losing a few pounds! I've been working my butt off lately and have been super busy with school. I decided to transfer schools mid summer and I'm now a proud cadet at the Texas Maritime Academy. I figured I would get a head start on the military lifestyle before I go to OCS. It's been pretty fun so far, the early mornings and room inspections are getting a little old though. I look really goofy in my uniform, high waisted khaki pants with matching shirt and cover aren't exactly the most flattering on me, but nonetheless I'm enjoying myself.

    Have you made it any further into the enlistment process?

    I hope all is well.

    Sincerely,

    Holly

  2. So great to hear the news! Congrats on the school transfer!
    I'm a little worried about inspections myself, but I'll worry about it when I get there, right?

    Enlistment is slow, I'm waiting to hear back for a waiver on my knee. I had a previous sports injury (Oh...soccer..). The biggest hurdle is of course is losing the weight in a timely manner while lining up my MOS school dates with bootcamp. I can only imagine the fun in getting that straight.
